Customer Service Associate
Primary Responsibilities
- Respond knowledgeably and with compassion to phone calls, letters and emails in a timely fashion
- Compose letters for Leadership as needed
- Handle requests for copyright information
- Process ministry mail and fwd appropriately every week
- Plan and lead weekly ministry prayer times, prepare prayer list, recruit people to share devotions, send prayer requests to Cru for World Wide Day of Prayer
- Assist ministry operations by counting offering/sales money
- Answer the phone, give resource information, take, enter and fill orders, initiate charging of credit cards, send cc info to Cru
- Serve as point person for the administration of incoming corrections to existing resources published by Sightline’s US publishers. This position will collect, file, and communicate these changes to the US publishers and then follow up to make sure the changes and corrections are made in subsequent printings.
- Send free resources to hardship cases, people in jail (determined on a case by case basis) also to Christian schools having auctions, benefits, etc.
- Manage ministry logistics center including supplies and storage.
- Fulfill online orders in a timely manner.
Financial Stewardship:
- Cru Religious Missionary Order Staff are expected to maintain a positive balance in their staff account, properly administer financial resources, and communicate consistently with his/her ministry partnership team.
Other Functions:
- Demonstrate and model personal spiritual discipline and assist in development of an environment on the team where individual team members grow in their own Christian walks.
- Personal development – engage in the Staff Development process including creating and implementing a Personal Development Plan (PDP) targeting areas of growth.
- Perform related duties or special projects as assigned
- Attend the Ministry’s bi-monthly staff meetings, weekly development team meetings, weekly prayer times, biennial retreat and Cru semi-annual days of prayer
